At Training by Julie and Associates, we believe that the sooner you can start your puppy in training, the better. Teach your puppies basic manners and obedience, and start with puppy problem solving, such as chewing and house training. Our trainers will give you real life, practical solutions to these challenging and often times frustrating problems. Puppies from 10 weeks to 6 months old are welcome.
Our basic obedience class offers good manners and basic problem solving, such as sit, down, leave it, loose leash walking and many more. Great for any age dog even with prior training to help them and their people live harmoniously. This class is for dogs and puppies 6 months and up.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) offers a program called the Canine Good Citizen. It recognizes canines that are mannerly in both their home and their community. Training by Julie and Associates offers this class as an intermediate obedience course using the foundation of the basic obedience class, learning how to build better focus and communication between you and your dog. Any breed or mixed breed is welcome to join and is eligible to become a Canine Good Citizen.
This class is offered for intermediate to advanced students to continue progressing their dogs to off-leash work. Also a preparation for dog sports.
This class is for dogs who are reactive/aggressive to other dogs. Evaluation prior to classes is required.
An introduction to the Rally-Obedience dog sport. For intermediate to advanced students. Pre-Requisite: Basic and/or Puppy Class
A basic level tracking class teaching the basics of scent theory and basic tracking. This class is taught out doors. Any and all breeds and ages are welcome! Note: Additional equipment may be required.
This is a fun agility class designed to promote the bond between dog and owner. Prerequisite: Basic and/or Puppy Class
